Service Components - Your Certification Journey – Simplified in Four Stages

Stage1: Pre-Applicant Training (8–16 hours)

Begins once your organization decides to apply for Fairtrade certification

  • Introduction to the Fairtrade system, its global impact, and producer responsibilities and role in the Fairtrade ecosystem
  • Legal guidance on registering SPOs under Fairtrade requirements
  • Detailed walkthrough of eligibility and structural requirements for Fairtrade certification
  • Validation of application documents
  • Participatory GAP Assessment to obtain Producer network ( Fairtrade NAPP) recommendation id required.

Stage2: Application Stage Support (4–8 hours)

Stage 3: SPO Formation & Readiness (8 hours)

Stage 4: Post-Audit Support (8 hours)

  • Assistance in resolving non-conformities identified during the audit
  • Advisory support on corrective measures
  • Monitoring the implementation of corrective measures through validation of objective evidence.
